Deploy capabilities
To deploy Sustainability data solutions in Microsoft Fabric capabilities to a workspace, follow the steps in this article. These steps show how to deploy the environment, social, and governance (ESG) data estate capability and apply to all other capabilities.
Prerequisites
Microsoft Fabric is deployed in the tenant. For details, go to Review required licensing.
Permission to create Fabric items. For details, go to Set up permissions. This step isn't required for a Fabric trial license.
ESG data estate is the base capability that is required by all the other capabilities in Sustainability data solutions in Fabric.
Deploy
Navigate to the workspace where you want to deploy the ESG data estate capability.
Select the Sustainability solution item in the workspace. The Sustainability solutions management page opens. It shows the currently deployed capabilities and capabilities available to deploy.
Select the capability that you want to deploy and go to the detail page of the capability. For example, if you select the ESG data estate capability, then the ESG data estate page opens.
Review the detailed information about the capability and items that it creates in the workspace. When you're ready to proceed, select Deploy to workspace.
You can view the list of successfully deployed capabilities on the sustainability solution page itself. From this page, select a deployed capability to get more details about it and delete it selectively.
