This Dragon Copilot release delivers targeted improvements for clinicians and administrators, including Epic single sign-on launch for desktop users and new admin controls for governing information sources and EHR edit control mappings, alongside automatic enhancements such as multi‑intent prompts, improved analytics, and streamlined physician and nurse settings to boost efficiency and usability.

Launch Dragon Copilot desktop from within Epic using SSO (single-sign-on)
Description: Users can now open Dragon Copilot directly from the Epic EHR using a toolbar button. When they use this button, they don't need to sign in again - Epic authentication automatically handles authentication. This streamlined experience mirrors how Dragon Medical One works, reducing authentication steps and saving time. This feature is currently only available for Microsoft-provisioned customers on Dragon admin center. This will be available for customers not provisioned on Dragon admin center in a future release.

Enhanced multi-intent prompt capabilities in Dragon Copilot Chat
Description: Dragon Copilot Chat now supports advanced, multi-intent prompts that enable clinicians to accomplish multiple tasks within a single interaction. By seamlessly integrating documentation assistance with intelligent information retrieval, this capability streamlines clinical workflows while preserving shared clinical context throughout the interaction. This enhancement significantly improves workflow efficiency by allowing users to issue complex, multifaceted instructions without switching contexts or initiating separate requests. Clinical teams can now:
Capture diagnostic codes while simultaneously retrieving supporting clinical evidence from trusted medical sources and references.
Generate patient instruction letters informed by current external clinical guidelines and best practice recommendations.
Update clinical documentation and assign appropriate billing codes concurrently, reducing redundant data entry.

Manage trusted sources and coding suggestions
Description: You can view, configure, assign, and manage Information Assist data sources, including trusted sources, and coding suggestions. This enables organizations to control which sources are available at the organization or healthcare group level, ensuring physicians and nurses are presented with trusted, relevant information directly within their workflows. As a result, organizations benefit from improved governance, greater consistency, and enhanced safety while retaining the flexibility to tailor Information Assist to their clinical and operational needs.
Safe web search was originally planned for this release but will now be available in a future release.

Manage edit control mapping
Description: You can now map custom edit control names without relying on Microsoft. You can define custom EHR edit control mappings to ensure accurate dictation at the cursor with full edit control support. This enables Dragon Copilot to recognize custom control class names used by your EHR and map them to supported control types, delivering consistent editing behavior across apps.

Physician analytics - Overview dashboard
Description: The Usage overview and Usage insights dashboards reports have been replaced by the new Dragon Copilot Overview dashboard. This new dashboard provides a more focused and intuitive analytics experience, making it easier for you to understand usage trends and drive adoption across your organization. This feature is currently only available for Microsoft-provisioned customers on Dragon admin center. Future updates will be provided for customers not provisioned on Dragon admin center.

Nursing analytics - Overview dashboard
Description: The Overview dashboard has been improved to enhance flexibility, consistency, and usability of reporting:
License usage trend graphic: The Metrics filter has been added to enable flexible license usage analysis. Options available: Total licenses, Assigned licenses, and Active users.
Clearer KPI definition: License usage % has been renamed to Assigned license % to better reflect the metric and improve interpretation.
Meaningful AI terminology: AI responses has been renamed to AI prompts.
Improved user-level reporting: updated the Dragon Copilot users table to a one-row-per-user model, reducing duplication and enabling a deeper analysis into associated roles and units.

Admin setting updates for the physician experience
Description: The following updates are now available:
Embedded settings are now available for all regions.
Embedded settings: The Retrieve patient list and Sync patient schedule settings have been moved from the Core settings to the Embedded settings.
DIctation settings: The Insert additional text setting is now nested as a child setting under User texts.
