Manage users

Note

The information in this article doesn't apply to the Dragon Copilot (radiologists) capability.

This article explains how to view and update user details, including user configurations and organizational assignments, and remove user data.

View user data

Select a user in Dragon admin center to see the User details page with user-specific information such as user type, specialties, library items, and settings. You can also view the organizational units and healthcare groups the user belongs to.

To view user data

  1. In the Environment configuration section of the navigation pane, select Organization. You see your current organizational units and their hierarchy.
  2. Select an organizational unit.
  3. Select a user from the list of members to view user details.

Alternatively, select a user as follows to view their user details:

The user's Entra account details are displayed to the right. To see the details in Microsoft Entra, select View.

Edit user data

On the User details page, you can edit a user's details, including user configurations and organizational assignments.

To edit user data

  • To edit the user type, select Edit type.

  • To edit the user's primary and secondary specialty, select Edit specialty.

  • To edit the user's EHR user ID, select Edit EHR user ID.

  • To edit the user's organizational assignments, go to the Organizational units or Healthcare groups section and select the hierarchy level you want to update.

  • To update the library items available to the user, select one of the links under User library in the User configurations section.

  • To update the user's product settings, select the link under User product settings in the User configurations section.

  • To update the user's license assignment in Microsoft 365 admin center, select Manage licenses in the Assigned licenses section to the right.

Remove user data

You can remove user data from Dragon admin center by using the Remove user data action on the Organization page. This action removes all user configurations, including links to healthcare groups and organizational units, user-specific product settings, and library objects. Once removed, user data can't be restored.

This action doesn't delete the user from Microsoft 365 admin center. You can delete the user in Microsoft 365 admin center separately after you remove their data from Dragon admin center.

To remove user data

  1. In the Environment configuration section of the navigation pane, select Organization. You see your current organizational units and their hierarchy.
  2. In the top right of the page select Manage users > Remove user data.
  3. Search for the user by name and select Remove data.
  4. Select Done.
