Business value
Wrist-mounted scanners let warehouse workers scan barcodes without juggling a separate device. This feature eliminates repetitive motions and can save 3 to 5 seconds per scan. With real-time feedback and an ergonomic design, wrist-mounted scanners help reduce picking and packing errors. Some organizations see up to a 27 percent improvement in picking accuracy. The lightweight, wearable design reduces physical strain and fatigue. This reduction leads to higher worker satisfaction and lower injury risk. The value of this design is especially high in environments with high turnover or labor shortages.
Feature details
The Warehouse Management mobile app for Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management now runs natively on a wide range of wrist-mounted scanning devices. It provides the following features and benefits:

- Improved accuracy: Reduce picking and packing errors. Some organizations see up to a 27 percent improvement in picking accuracy when they switch to wrist-mounted scanners.
- Improved productivity: Save 3 to 5 seconds per scan. In high-volume environments, the overall time saved can total several hours each day.
- Reduced physical strain and fatigue: Improve worker satisfaction and reduce injury risk.
- Rapid deployment: Quickly roll out the mobile app to many wrist-mounted scanning devices.
