Business value

This feature enhances the accuracy and flexibility of the payment terms in the Commercial Transactions Report for Polish legal entities by addressing a key limitation in how settled transactions are evaluated. By extending support to include General Journal settlements, the solution now reflects a more complete and realistic view of payment behavior, improving compliance with local reporting obligations and reducing the need for manual adjustments.

Feature details

This update introduces a new parameter to the payment terms in the Commercial Transactions Report. The enhancement ensures broader coverage of real-world accounting practices by including additional transaction types in the report logic:

  • Expanded settlement logic: The report now considers transactions with LedgerTransType::GeneralJournal in addition to the previously supported LedgerTransType::Payment and LedgerTransType::None.
  • Improved accuracy: Reflects a more comprehensive set of settled invoices, especially for organizations that record payments through daily journals rather than payment journals.
  • Regulatory compliance: Supports the legal requirement for submitting annual reports on payment terms in commercial transactions to Polish tax authorities.

This improvement ensures that the report aligns more closely with actual business practices in Poland, reducing reporting gaps and enhancing data reliability.
