Performs semantic search against Microsoft official technical documentation.
Obtaining Credentials
Not applicable: using the MCP server is currently unauthenticated.
Getting Started
- In Copilot Studio, create a new agent.
- Add these instructions: You are a helpful agent. If a question includes a Microsoft product, service, or technology, you should leverage the Microsoft Learn Docs MCP Server to search for an answer.
- Make sure the agent is created/saved.
- Click add tool, and search for the Microsoft Learn Docs MCP Server.
- Ask a question about a Microsoft product, service, or technology.
- The first time the MCP Server is used, you may be prompted to open connection manager. If so, click connect, submit, close the window, and click retry.
Known Issues and Limitations
Power Automate currently doesn't support MCP Servers, so this doesn't work in a flow today.
