Adds Microsoft Learn content as context through the Microsoft Learn Docs MCP Server

This connector is available in the following products and regions:

Service Class Regions
Copilot Studio Premium All Power Automate regions except the following:
     -   US Government (GCC)
     -   US Government (GCC High)
     -   China Cloud operated by 21Vianet
     -   US Department of Defense (DoD)
Logic Apps Standard All Logic Apps regions except the following:
     -   Azure Government regions
     -   Azure China regions
     -   US Department of Defense (DoD)
Power Apps Premium All Power Apps regions except the following:
     -   US Government (GCC)

The MCP Server offers the following tool:

Performs semantic search against Microsoft official technical documentation.

Obtaining Credentials

Not applicable: using the MCP server is currently unauthenticated.

Getting Started

  • In Copilot Studio, create a new agent.
  • Add these instructions: You are a helpful agent. If a question includes a Microsoft product, service, or technology, you should leverage the Microsoft Learn Docs MCP Server to search for an answer.
  • Make sure the agent is created/saved.
  • Click add tool, and search for the Microsoft Learn Docs MCP Server.
  • Ask a question about a Microsoft product, service, or technology.
  • The first time the MCP Server is used, you may be prompted to open connection manager. If so, click connect, submit, close the window, and click retry.

Known Issues and Limitations

Power Automate currently doesn't support MCP Servers, so this doesn't work in a flow today.
