Hi Guys,
Some of our users are encountering "Could not be updated" when viewing a room calendar.
Is this related to permission? If yes, how can I check the permission of the room calendar?

Hi ,
Are you using Outlook desktop client? If so, in order to check if this issue is related to your Outlook client, please try exiting Outlook desktop client and see if this issue can be reproduced on the web mail.
Besides, if these problematic users are working in cached mode, it is also suggested to try the Online mode and see if there is any difference.
What's the version of your Exchange server? If there are multiple server, are these mailboxes migrated from an earlier version?
>>Some of our users are encountering "Could not be updated" when viewing a room calendar.
Is there any difference between these problematic users and other normal users(such as permissions and Outlook settings)? Are they using the same database?
Can this problem be reproduced if these problematic users open other calendars?
>>Is this related to permission? If yes, how can I check the permission of the room calendar?
Permissions may indeed cause this issue, please try to check by the following suggestions:
- If you have full admin rights over the Room, it is suggested for you to check the permissions of these problematic users on the Outlook desktop client via Right click the calendar > Properties >Permissions.
- You can also contact your administrator to check permissions of this room calendar via EMC.
- If this issue continues after checking permissions, please try to reassign the permissions and re-add this room calendar to these users.
In addition, if you use Outlook 365 desktop client, please try to turn on shared calendar updates and see if there is any difference(File > Account settings > Account settings > Double click your account > More settings > Advanced > Turn on shared…).
Any update, please feel free to post back.
