Hi kevinlevrone,

According to your description, if the Troubleshooting options are missing, some reasons may could cause the issue.

1. Run Windows Update and check updates to install.

2. Reset BIOS default settings. Some manufacturer have their own settings.

3. it could be related to your recovery partition. I find someone fix the issue by follow the methods in the link below. It's for 8.1 but still works on 10.

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows8_1-performance/troubleshooting-not-available-in-windows-81/e486ab82-3407-4a96-b482-3ef9f1a0fda3

If the issue still insists, I’m afraid that you need contact the official support of the manufacturer.

Or it’s time to do re-image to check.

Hope it will be helpful to you

Hi,

It's Ok. It displays the recovery partition.

After you reboot the PC, could you find the troubleshooting option in advanced-startup-options?

I had had this issue twice on 2 different computers.
I did a system image recovery and that fixed it.

If you don't have system image backup done regularly, my only suggestion is to do an In-place Upgrade Install using Media Creation Tool to download the iso file.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/software-download/windows10

(Please post back if you require instructions on how to download your edition of Win 10 iso file.)

Once the iso file is downloaded,**  right** click at the iso > click Mount> click Setup (or setup.exe)

That will start the installation.
It does NOT require a product key.
It allows you to keep your settings, files and apps.
Activation is automatic.

RE : How can i do system image recovery, will i lost files etc.

It won't do you any good now because you never ( I assume ) did system image backup on regular basis.
System Image Backup and System Image Recovery are part of all Windows 10 operating systems.

In order to do that, you must first do system image backup BEFORE you have had any trouble.

Please read this tutorial on System Image backup:
You will need an external hard drive to store the backup.
https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/5495-create-system-image-windows-10-a.html

How to do system image recovery:

System Image Recovery will go back to the state when you did the backup. You will return to the settings, personal files and apps you had at that time. It is very much similar to system restore.

First plug in your external hard drive.
Start button > Settings > Update & Security > left side, Recovery > right side, under Advanced startup, click the Restart now button > Troubleshoot > Advanced options > system Image Recovery...................

RE : And if i do in place upgrade install what must i care not to delete files etc

In-place Upgrade Install allows you to keep your settings, files and apps.
That means it gives you option to keep everything or keep nothing.

i cant do that now because i cant already enter troublesoot but i can do it by a program i think (mscrium reflect)

If you have done image backup with your Macrium Reflect BEFORE this trouble arises, then use it to restore the system.

If you have not, that program won't help your current issue.

I do not use Macrium Reflect. So, please don't ask me how to use it.
Google should be able to offer you required info.

*** adding.................

Sounds like you will be better off running the In-place Upgrade Install ( also known as Repair Install ).

P.S. Repair Install is NOT the same as the one (Repair) you had performed earlier.

i never used  Macrium Reflect before, i saw it in a forum

i will try  In-place Upgrade Install first

Here is the Media Creation Tool link :

Make sure you know how to download your edition/architecture of Win 10 iso file.
If in doubt, post back for clarification.

Let us know the result of In-place Upgrade Install.

I apologize.

I have no more suggestion unless you don't mind doing a Clean Install.

Clean Install will not allow you to keep anything. You start from scratch.

Hence the name CLEAN Install.

Excuse me for being contradictory.

What other methods can fix any problem better than a Clean Install ?

Clean Install is to install a brand new os without any "carry-over baggage". What is better than that ?

Perhaps, you should run a full virus scan first.

i have tried Clean Install

Please answer these questions following the numbers in kind:

1) Please explain what has happened to your computer that you are in the situation needing windows advanced recovery options.

2) What is the history of malware

3) Is this a notebook or PC?

4) When you boot to a USB drive do you use a F key or do you change the bios boot order?

5) What do you see when you boot using a bootable windows 10 iso?

a) do you see an option to click on install?

b) do you see an option to click on repair your PC?

6) When you attempt to boot to a USB drive have you tried both USB2 and USB3?

when i did 1. 2. 3. steps i checked and problem was SOLVED

but after 4. 5. 6. 7. steps i checked and no advanced startup options again

  1. Make a complete backup image of your current HD including all partitions to an external HD using     macrium reflect . Once done, disconnect all USB devices from the PC. Assuming now you only have one HD connected to the PC which you will be installing Windows.
**IMPORTANT: **Also create a Macrium Rescue disk to boot from later on.
  2. Boot up your Windows installation USB/DVD. On the first screen, Hold SHIFT + F10 to open Command Windows then type:
    Diskpart
    select disk 0
    clean
    exit
  3. Click Next, Choose Custom, select the unallocated partition then click Next (Do not format), when asked for Product ID key, click on "Skip this step"/"Do it later". Continue the Installation.
  4. Once done. With the external HD connected, Reboot your PC with the Macrium Rescue disk, select the image that you created in step 1 as the Source.
  5. Select your current HD/SSD as Destination disk
  6. Restore only C: Drive to it. ie. overwrite the new C: Drive with your backup C: Drive.
NOTE: See screen shot on how to perform this step
  7. Disconnect all the external devices. Reboot. Windows should perform a startup repair.

till 4. step there was no windows 10 key activeted and problem vas solved

but after step 7 i checked key and it was not the same which i purchased, why did that change? i activated purchased key again.

so is the problem to be a windows 10 key on my pc?

or do some drivers prevent advancedstartup options?
