Office 365 migration - batch job stuck in completing status for several days

I have finished setting up a hybrid environment for my O365 migration.  The hybrid configuration wizard completed without any issues.  I created a test mailbox on my on Prem server and sent a few emails to and from the new account.  I created a batch migration job.  It finished the sync in about an hour without errors.  I then clicked on the complete migration tab and it has been stuck in a completing status for 3 days.  Any ideas why the complete is taking so long.

Please  check error on mailbox migration report.

Connect to Exchange Online by PowerShell.

# Get-MoveRequest [email protected] | Set-MoveRequest -CompleteAfter $null

2. Please check your migration service account. Maybe lock or password expired.  Who connect from Exchange Online to Exchange on Premise.

The accounts aren't locked.  when I run the command I get

Couldn't find a move request that corresponds to the specified identity '[email protected]'.

I get the same message that the migration user can't be found.  Is the user the name of the mailbox I'm trying to move?

Hi Christopher,

If run the following commands in Exchange online powershell, what will you get ? Please post the result here:

Get-MigrationBatch -Identity Test1 |fl
Get-MoveRequest |Get-MigrationUserStatistics -IncludeReport | FL

Moreover, I also recommend you follow this article to check if all conditions are ready, especially step 1&2.

Something must be wrong with the user account.  I created a new user account and mailbox on my OnPrem server and did a new migration.  This time it went perfectly.

Thanks for your feedback. You can compare the problematic account with a normal account, and check if there is any difference, that could be the cause of the issue.
