Our company upgrade from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010 about a year ago and the SQL Server is still on 2008 R2. If we move the SharePoint databases from 2008 R2 to SQL Server 2014 and repoint SharePoint Server to the databases on
SQL Server 2014 will this work. I’m trying to find out if SQL Server 2014 Enterprise is compatible with SharePoint 2010.

Hi kman589,
I agreed with Alex.
From the MSDN article:
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ronalg/archive/2014/03/24/sql-server-2014-and-sharepoint-supportability.aspx
SharePoint 2010 is not supported on SQL 2014. There are no plans to support it in the future.
Best Regards,
Wendy
