Message ID 11171 and 10008

Can someone help and explain more on the Message ID 11171 and 10008, I have found some links on the internet but not much information
For example Looking at Monitoring in SCCM console and checking on OSD deployments I can see that my OSD and the software
in the task sequence is deployed succefully with Message ID 11171 and looking at "more details" on client all my software was installed succefully.
But when I look at the smsts.log, not all the software was installed, stopped halfway and rebooted. So what is all this difference ?
I have a problem that after the PC was rebooted I can see that all the applications installed by task sequence and those installed
manually were all missing after using the PC for some few days. Sccm 2012 sp1 cu3

In short what do Message ID 11171 and 10008 mean exactly in OSD task sequence Deployment status. Message ID 11171 says "The task sequence manager successfully completed excution of the task sequence, and message ID 10008 says "The program completed with success" and yet nothing is installed on the PC apart from the bare image.

Both of this message ID are under the success tab of the deployment status
