Hi,

You mean collapse all the slides in the Outline Pane in Outline View?

Go to File>Options>Advanced>Display section, make sure to select "The view saved in the file" as the value of option "Open all documents using this view".

Before saving a PowerPoint file, switch to the correct view setting, then save and re-open the file and see if the view setting has been preserved.

Close, but no. The way you suggested does work for what you are suggesting. I guess what I meant was, "Is there a way save my PowerPoint so that it will open in Normal view but with the slides already all collapsed?"

I tried to save it with the settings you suggested, but that doesn't work for what I want. The outline view doesn't give identification for my slides like collapsing them in Normal view does or that would be perfect.

Thank You.
