PowerShell 5.1 : update-help without direct Internet

Hello,

How to update the PowerShell Help with a computer that doesn"t have any Internet Access ?
I know the command "update-help".

Is it possible to download some files on Microsoft web site and install an Help update manually ?

Install instructions are :

If you can run the Save-Help cmdlet on a computer connected to the Internet to get the Help files, then do not use this manual procedure.

This procedure should be used only when you cannot run the Save-Help cmdlet.

1. Download these files and copy them to a shared folder that the computers on which you want to install the Help can access. If you have a folder in which you have already stored the output of the Save-Help cmdlet, you can copy these files to that folder.

2. On the computers on which you want to install Help, run the command Update-Help -SourcePath foldername, where foldername is the path to the shared folder to which you copied the Help files in step 1

You are running Save-Help from a machine that is connected to the internet correct? I ran on my machine and all seems to have worked fine. I did receive that error for a PowerShell module from a Third Party, which it looks like from the error, that module doesn't support updatable help. So I think the error is fine, just more of a 'hey I tried to update, but they do not support this functionality, so just letting you know'.

When running the command, I did receive updated help files and that error did not show until the cmdlet was finished.

Can you provide some command lines running Save-Help ?

Don't forget that the title of the issue is "update-help without direct Internet"

Then, the goal is to find a website to downloads the help-files dedicated for PowerShell 5.1, but also the files to update it ?
It seems that many many commands are missing.

It must be run from an Internet connected system.

It works fine for me.

Some help files cannot be downloaded since they do not support updateable help.

You will end up with a folder full of XML and CAB files that can be stored on a drive and used with Update-Help on another system.

Through a Windows 7, without the company Network, directly on Internet, the command doesn't download anything :

save-help -DestinationPath "D:\TRANSFERTS\Powershell_Helps_Updates" -Module * -verbose -full

On your side, what are the messages when you use the parameter "-verbose" ?
