Welcome to the MSDN forum.

As Simon said, the msvbvm50.exe is one DLL file of Visual Basic 5.0 Run-Time Files, since the above download link is not existing, maybe you can directly download the msvbvm50.exe from here: http://download.microsoft.com/download/vb50pro/utility/1/win98/EN-US/Msvbvm50.exe

The dll is the part of VB5.0 runtime. 

You can download VB5.0 runtime from here:

This problem with MSVBVM50.DLL may occur due to improper loading of windows or updating drivers, I recommend updating the Visual C ++ database.too you must update DirectX, as described briefly here https://wikidll.com/microsoft/msvbvm50-dll
