In Windows 2008 R2 Failover Cluster Manager, I see some old File Share Witnesses listed in the Core Resources section. This is being used for Exchange 2010. The File Share Witnesses have been updated, but I would like to remove the old ones not being used anymore. Is there some command line way to do this?

Made some additional progress, but still not sure why Exchange 2010 is not updating what is seen in the Failover Cluster Manager.

Yes, from a command prompt, you can issue:
cluster res "Resource Name" /delete
This should delete the resources. You might want to issue a "Cluster res" command before/after to list the resource names and confirm that it is deleted.
Hope this helps

I get an error when trying to delete the FSW because it says "the cluster resource cannot be deleted because it is a core resource"
