I cant seem to find a definitive answer for some reason and I noticed it was unchecked in my adapter settings. Will it harm anything if enabled or better yet, what the heck is the benefit of enabling it??
Thanks

P.S
I'm wondering if its some type of multi-path load balancing arbiter protocol similar to power path or native MPIO?

Hi Nick,
This is enabled automatically when teaming multiple network adapters. So unless you are configuring multiple network adapters in a team this should not be enabled.
Hope that helps,
Marcus

Hi Nick,
The Microsoft Network Adapter Multiplexor Protocol service is a kernel mode driver. This protocol is used
for Netword Interface Card bonding, which is the combining of two ethernet cards to appear as one physical device in order to increase the available bandwidth.
You just leave it by itself if you don't combine Ethernet.
