We service Hospitals and have scenarios where 25 people logon to a computer at the same time via fast users switching. The computers are unable to handle all the logons and are getting heap exhaustion errors.
There are about 350 people that use these workstations and they do want Fast User switching but want to limit it to 10.
Is there a way to limit the number that can logon? I know with Windows Remote Desktop on the server 2008 you are limited to 2 remote sessions.

Hi ,
There is no limitation of users allowed for Fast User Switching. Here are some similar cases for your reference.
Max number of concurrent sessions for fast user switching?

There is always some type of hack though. I know with Windows Remote Desktop you are limited to 2 sessions on a Server and 1 on a workstation. Therefore the number of logons is limited there? There was a limitlogon msi for 2003 that let you force users to only logon to one computer at a time.
