I would like to stop the balloons when reading my Windows 10 Mail.

Method 1: Using Control Panel

1. Click the Start button , click Control Panel , then click System and Security .
2. Click Review your computer’s status and resolve issues .
3. Select Change Action Center settings on the left panel.
4. Now, you should remove the tick marks from the notifications you don’t want to receive in the Security messages and Maintenance settings sections.
5. Click OK .
    
   Method 2: Using Group Policy Editor
    
6. Click the Start button , type gpedit.msc in the Start Search box and then press ENTER.
7. Click Continue when the User Account Control (UAC) prompts.
8. Navigate to the following branch:
    
   User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Start Menu and Taskbar
    
9. Double-click Turn off all balloon notifications and set it to Enabled .
10. Close Group Policy Editor and restart the computer.
