Sync On-Prem Active Directory Child Domain Only via Azure AD Connect

Hi 

I have an environment where on-Prem Active Directory have domain abc.local.com having bulk OUs created and polices apply I have plan to Sync Sub Domain Users test.abc.local.com via Azure AD Connect on Cloud without Parent domain. Please guide what steps need to follow that only Sub Domain Users synced but Not Parent Domain Users.

We need to re-install the Azure AD Connect to refresh the connector schema.

Thanks for share but the links you shared related to Issue faced after child domain , I asked about since i already configured Azure AD Connect with Parent domain abc.local.com but i keep that too i do not want to reconfigure Azure AD Connect again just want to add New Sub-Domain 

How can I do that Like Created Sub Domain in my Existing Forest or Adding that Sub-Domain in AD Domain and Trust?

Cannot find a better method from my point of view. Maybe you could ask the same question in Microsoft Azure > Azure Active Directory forum.
