The check boxes on my spread sheet don't work when I click on them (I make sure I have design mode off) and when I save my work and reopen it check boxes and other items in the spread sheet move and change fonts. I recently purchased Microsoft home and student 2019 in order to resolve these issues but unfortunately it did not. Please help.

Hi Alan G122354,
Did this problem appear in all Excel files? Or specific Excel files?
How about other kind of controls in Excel?
Did the check box assign macro?
Where did you store problem files?
I suggest your try to create a new Workbook and insert a new checkbox.
Then make sure the Workbook or Worksheet is not protected, go to Review- and check if the Workbook or Worksheet is protected:
Please provide more information about your problem, I'm glad to help you.
Regards,
Emi

Microsoft excel is very popular software for data store.I also used this software and faced with this checkbox problems and other bugs. Then I have done some process:
Left click on the checkbox and select format control. In the format control dialog box ,select the properties tab,in the properties tab, within object positioning, select don't move or size with cells.Click ok. I also got some information from this site
