Question

Hi --
I posted this message to the Windows 7 Pro board, because it deals with a Windows 7 PC. But I would like to know if this issue could be resolved if the PC were running Windows 10.
Thanks
Hi --
I have a Windows 7 Ultimate PC driving three monitors. The user regularly loses control of his mouse pointer. The problem is not necessarily finding the pointer, but figuring out how to get it back to his main screen, since the monitors are set up in an odd, angular inverted "L" shape where monitor 3 is not quite directly above monitor 2. So to get the mouse pointer from monitor 3 to monitor 1 involves a downward move into monitor 2, then a leftward move back to monitor 1. And if you just move the mouse not really knowing where your mouse pointer is, you can easily lose it somewhere on an edge where the mouse can't travel.
Does Windows 7 have a way to snap the mouse pointer back to the main screen?
Note that I want to move the mouse pointer, not *find *the mouse pointer. We already tried the "Show location of pointer when I press CTRL key" setting. It's more of an annoyance than a help for this user.
(And yes, I suggested logically aligning the monitors in a straight line in the Display settings. But the user doesn't think that it make sense to move right off of his second monitor to get to the third monitor that sits above the second. Or almost above it.)
And if Windows 7 can't handle this, can Windows 10?
Thanks,
CL

Hi Chuck Lavin,
According to my know, we could makes the mouse pointer automatically move to the default button (like OK , Yes , Save , etc.) in dialog boxes. But I have not heard and also I can't find any official measure to move pointer automatically to the center of monitor from Microsoft technical article.
Bests,
