Question

Hi,

I'm trying to install the internet printer of my university on my laptop, but I get errors.
The IT helpdesk of my university tried to help me but can't figure out how to fix my problem.

They problem they stumbled upon is when I go to "Print server properties" en then the "ports" tab I get this error:

"Operation could not be completed (error 0x000000d), The data is invalid"

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

1) Press Win+R (Windows logo key and R key) at the same time to invoke the Run box.

  1. Type services.msc in the run box and click OK.

3) Double-click on Print Spooler to open the Properties dialog box.

4) If the “Service status” is Stopped, click the Start button. And make sure the “Startup type” has been set as Automatic. After that, click the OK button to save the change.

5) Reboot
