Dell Latitude 7480 laptops freeze when docking/undocking

Hi,

Windows 10 64 bit is installed in the Dell Latitude 7480  laptop. It freezes when docking/undocking and promting for Butlocker recovery password. I have updated BIOS and docuking station driver. 

But still the issue occurs. Please provide suggestions to solve the issue.

Probably, the laptop tries to go into a sleep mode when you docked it.

You can create a new power plan (High Performance).

Control Panel --> Power Options --> Change the plan to High Performance if it's available.

If it doesn't, you can create it.

Hi,

Try changing your power settings to High Performance.

Disabling C-States within the BIOS to check.

Also update the video driver and motherboard driver.
