Outlook presence is missing after cisco jabber installation, have used the following but the Presence feature did not return.

  1. Open Regedit.exe.
  2. Browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\IM Providers
  3. Click on the appropriate IM provider (e.g. Lync or Communicator) and ensure the UpAndRunning section has a key value of 2.
  4. Update the DefaultIMApp key to the desired application (e.g. Lync or Communicator)

For Office 2013, also verify the following:

  1. Browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\IM and ensure SetOnlineStatusLevel has a key value of 3.
  2. Browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Common\PersonaMenu and ensure Enabled has a key value of 1.

Hi,

Based on my research, you also need to change the UpAndRunning data to 2 under:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\IM Providers\Cisco Jabber

Since this issue is more related to Lync clients, if you need further assistance regarding this issue, I'd recommend you post a new question to the following forum:
