error 30182-1015 (2) when installing Office Standard 2019 using ODT

Question

Friday, May 3, 2019 4:45 PM

I have used every tool I can find to create configuration scripts and I keep getting the same error. This is the most frustrating way to install software. We've used VLSC installs in the past with little to no problem.

I looked up the error code suggestions and did every single thing on the list. firewall disable, registry key changes all of it.

this is the configuration script currently using from a suggested thread. although I actually entered my registration key.

Please help!

Hi,

In which step did you get this installation error? We have tested the configuration file script you sent and it works fine.

I would like to know if there is any other Office application installed on current computer when you deploy Office Standard 2019.

Please make sure run as Administrator to use the Setup.exe in the latest version of ODT to install it.

If the problem persists, please send the installation log to us for the next time.

Bella Wu

Hi, I am having the same issue with my Office 365 deployment. The error code 30182-1015 (2) appears after the package has downloaded from software center and the installation of Office 365 is attempting to start.
