Question

Hi,
In Word, when users click on Insert -> Online Picture -> they receive this error message, "Your org administrator Turned off the Service Required to use this Feature".
We are using the latest Office 365 version 1908 Build 11929.20494.
In Group Policy, the following are enabled already, and I don't know what's preventing this feature to work.
Allow the use of connected experiences in Office - Enabled.
Allow the use of connected experiences in Office that analyze content - Enabled.
Allow the use of connected experiences in Office that download online content - Enabled.
Any thoughts? Thank you.

Hi,
There is an Official article about this: Use policy settings to manage privacy controls for Office 365 ProPlus. I check your policy settings according to the article. These seems to be nothing wrong with your setting. Please make sure you are using the most current version of the Administrative Template files (ADMX/ADML).
Open any Office application. Click File, Options, General and click Privacy Settings. You have one or more options on that page disabled. It looks like you need these two options checked:
You can use this .reg file sample with the regedit.exe command in a script to configure privacy settings for the user to have a check:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\office\16.0\common\privacy]
"disconnectedstate"=dword:00000001
"usercontentdisabled"=dword:00000001
"downloadcontentdisabled"=dword:00000001
"controllerconnectedservicesenabled"=dword:00000001
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\office\common\clienttelemetry]
"sendtelemetry"=dword:00000002
If you have any updates, feel free to post back to let us know.
Best Regards,
Herb

Thank you! Your reply lead me to the solution.
In addition to the following setup...
Allow the use of connected experiences in Office - Enabled.
Allow the use of connected experiences in Office that analyze content - Enabled.
Allow the use of connected experiences in Office that download online content - Enabled.
I set this from Disabled to Not Configured. This was the configuration I was missing.
Allow the use of additional optional connected experiences in Office. If I set it to Not Configured.
