Hi,
Thanks for your post in our forum.
According to my understanding, the USB could be destroyed. Can it work fine(not format)?
Try to use some software to san the USB or try to run some fix app to fix it.
We can try the following link to see if it helps.
Automatically diagnose and fix Windows USB problems
Hope above information can help you.

I noticed the disk reports no media. It means your disk gets corrupted for some reasons:
1. Bad or loose USB port connection.
2. Unplug the USB drive forcefully without ejecting or safely removing the USB drive from computer.
3. Virus infection.
4. MBR or PBR of the device get damaged.
5. Insufficient power supply from the USB port. Overloading USB ports like inserting multiple USB drives may trigger the USB showing no media issue.
6. There are some bad sectors on the USB drive.
7. Failing flash drive. No Media error will also happen when the flash memory controller cannot communicate with the NAND flash memory on the drive. Then, Windows will treat the drive as an empty disk drive.
So, you cannot format it successfully in a normal way. You need a professional disk formatting software. AOMEI Partition Assistant is a great choice, it is able to forcefully format the corrupted disk with ease.
