Hi
Uninstall all trial or earlier versions of Office installed on the machine and try installing Office 2013 in Windows clean boot mode.
If it doesn’t work, go to another computer that has well installed Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013 X64,
do a search for ProPlus.WW\propsww2.cab, make sure to include searching hidden/system files,
it's usually located in the cache directories from the install. Copy the cab file to your machine then check the issue.

I had the same issues and it was caused by something I would never thought off: case sensitivity.
I had the files and I pointed the setup towards them but it couldn't find the cab. So I retypes the directory and cab file in the exact same casing as the installer was asking and it moved on nicely (note that you need to selec the install folder to continue, not the actual folder where the cab file is located, notice the setup asks for the ProPlus.WW\propsww2.cab)
Good luck

Hi,
I did the same thing what you have told, but the setup still asking for the path, tried copying entire cd setup to desktop, but no use. I am willing to use Office 2013, is there any alternative way to fix this issue. Thanks in appreciation.

Is there already a solution for this? or what is the cause...?

If what you meant is, to rename the file and folder name to match the casing shown in the error dialog, no that does not work for me. Is that what you meant?

Finally understood your simple solution.
The installer is asking for the Location\parent folder for the Folder "ProPlus.WW" and NOT for the location\parent folder to the file "propsww2.cab"

I copied the cab file from a functioning system, replaced the junk version of my distribution version and it worked perfectly
Thanks

YESSSS! It worked.
Just use (as an example)..
C:\YourInstallFolder\Office 2013 Professional Plus x64
(copy and paste path from Windows Explorer to the text box on the error dialog).
Also, if ProPsWW2.cab is actually missing (which, in my case was missing), you will have to get it from the install CD (no, the installation does not copy this file intact; it is a cabinet file and all files are extracted from it during installation).
