I am coming up empty handed here but i am after the fill button which is available in Excel 2013 under Home/Editing, in excel online it is not available.
Why is this and what is the fix?

Hi,
What can we say besides aknowledge what you have said. It is indeed not available in the online version. There is no fix for that. It depends on which fill option you use to search for alternatives. If you use the fill down option you could write a formula for it perhaps.

I agree with Maurice, the fill button is not available in the Excel online version. But we can use Fill Handle in online version. Drag the Fill Handle that appears in the lower-right corner of a selected cell or range of cells to fill the data into adjacent cells.

I guess it was more of a question. Like is it really not available. :)
I will use the handle for my needs. Although the feature parity needs a bit of work. Its a frustrating experience not being able to do something you have been able to do for a long time just because your using the cloud.
