Windows Server 2012 R2 - UASPStor reset to device, \device\raidport2, was issued

Question

Hi,

I have a Windows Server running 2012 R2 and this morning it went offline for an hour, when it came back up I had a look through the event viewer and the only error I can see are, Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort2 & \Device\RaidPort3

Is this related to the RAID I have configured on the server? Or what else causes this?

Thanks in advance

Hello,

The reset to Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort2 & \Device\RaidPort3 error is often caused by drivers and power management. Make sure you have the latest BIOS or UEFI firmware, SATA/AHCI, Power Mgmt, Chipset, Display (Video), Sound, USB3, Bluetooth, Network and all other drivers, or else download and install the latest now.
