After the last windows 10 update Remote desktop crashes when I try to open a new connection.
I keep getting the following error message from the eventviewer:
Faulting application name: CredentialUIBroker.exe, version: 10.0.14393.0, time stamp: 0x57899b6d
Faulting module name: MFC80.DLL, version: 8.0.50727.6195, time stamp: 0x4dcde15e
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Any idea how to solve this problem?

I've found a workaround.
I now use Remote Desktop Connection Manager 2.7 for RDP connections on this client.

we need to have a dump file.
But it is already strange that a really old MFC version (mfc80 was Visual Studio 2005) is loaded into a Windows 10 system process.
In my running instance of CredentialUIBroker.exe there is no MFC dll at all (but I did not try remote connection).
Do you have some 3rd party credential provider installed (smart card, fingerprint reader, etc..)?
