No BPMN 2.0 shapes at Visio 2016

I can't find BPMN shapes at Visio 2016 after i choose the BPMN diagram template.

Where can i find these shapes?

Hi,

Do you mean there is no BPMN shapes in your BPMN diagram template? Is the shapes window blank? If possible, please provide a screenshot about your Visio window.

Generally, in Visio 2016, only the basic BPMN 2.0 shapes are included in the BPMN Basic Shapes stencil. And other shapes can be derived from the basic shapes using the choices provided on the shapes’ right-click menu. Simply drag and drop the basic type of shape you want on to the canvas, select the shape, click on the right mouse button and select the different options from the menu. This greatly reduces searching through shapes to find the correct shape to drop on the page.

Hi,

Did you find a solution to this? I only installed visio 2016 as well and found that there are no BPMN stencils. I really find these usefull how can I get these. Thanks

Hi Winnie,

unfortunately I have the same issue. I have no BPMN shapes when I select the BPMN diagram template...

If I try to search for it I also cannot find the BPMN Basic Shapes as showed in you screenshot above.

I'm using Visio 2016 in german.
