Question

Friday, February 2, 2018 4:38 PM

Hello All,

I'm facing an issue when I try to execute a second time a provisioning package: error code 0x800700b7.

Do you have any idea won how to reexecute a PPKG, in case of it failed the first time for any reason?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your answer, I found this article before also.

Unfortunately, it seems my issue is not the same.

My provisioning package actually works fine until the end, but if I try after to re-execute it, it is failing.

I would like to be able to relaunch it, in case of execution failure the first time for example, or to have some scripts inside it running another time.

Any idea?

I discovered that if I created a new PPKG with the same project, with an updated name, I can execute it without any issue.

It is failing only if I re-execute the exact same PPKG.

Any idea will be helpful :-).

Hi,

Please try to access the packaging and deployment event logs, then upload the logs to One Drive and paste the link here.
Run eventvwr.msc.
Go to Event Viewer (Local) > Applications and Services Logs > Microsoft > Windows.
The first log to check is AppxPackagingOM > Microsoft-Windows-AppxPackaging/Operational.
Deployment-related errors are recorded in AppXDeployment-Server > Microsoft-Windows-AppXDeploymentServer/Operational.
You can also use the following command in PowerShell to get the first few logged events:
Get-Appxlog | Out-GridView

Sorry, I'm stuck on other stuff currently, I had no chance to work on this topic.

Export the package again from ICD and rerun should work fine.

Remove the package and reinstall.

Settings --> Accounts --> Access Work or School --> Add or remove a provisioning package --> Select the installed package --> Remove
