Hi Yousef,
this is the reason why I asked - there are some known issues with the Monitoringhost.exe, but if you take a look at the articles Yan Li posted you will see that those are pretty old (example the issue occrus on Windows Server 2008 or 2008 R2).
So you will have to do some troubleshooting here. Some tips:
- Since when does the issue occur? Have you imported new MPs at that time or have you upgraded MPs? SQL related MPs?
- Have you tried emptying the Health Service Cache on your Management Servers?
- Is your Windows Server 2012 R2 Os patched to the latest Level? You can also update SCOM with UR9, but I don't think that this particular issue has something to do with the current update Level - UR7.
- Do search in the Operations Manager Event log for some events at the time of the Spikes or when the issue occurs. What do you see there. You can also enable some tracing, but you have to know how to Analyse the logs.
- You can do also a manual memory dump at the time of the issue happens or memory dump of the specific process (procdump, adplus, debugger), but this would depend on your core troubleshooting skills.
- try to somehow narrow down the cause for the issue or provide more details in regards to it, Troubleshooting is done, based on logs and other data.
Hope this helps. Regards,

Hi Yousef,
which Version of SCOM do you have? Which Update Rollup is installed? What OS is the Management Server running.
What does the resource Manager say?
Are there any Events in the Operations Manager Event log?

Hello,
Please try whether the below hotfix can be helpful:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/968967
In addition, here is a blog about MonitoringHost.exe causes 100% or high CPU usage on Windows 2008 SP2 or R2 servers after importing SQL MP 6.6.4.0 or 6.6.2.0, if this meet your case, you may refer to it:
