Hi,
I have configured one scope for vlan in DHCP 2012 R2, lease time is set to 8 days, every computer in this scope have its own IP reservation.
Now the problem is, when 8 day lease expiry, computers can't renew its IP, even if computer is rebooted several times.
To resolve this I need delete everything in DHCP 'Address Leases' , now computers getting their IP.
After next 8 days the problem come back.

Hi,
Would you please run the” ipconfig /release” & “ipconfig /renew” command and see what happens? Is your computer’s IP address successfully renewed or do you get an error message?
You may refer to the following links for details:

Hi,
You have a 169 address because your device, likely a Windows PC, is attempting to use DHCP, and nothing is responding to its broadcast DHCPDISCOVER message. This may because your DHCP Server doesn’t work or the DHCP message is blocked because of your firewall settings.
You may refer to the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:
- Make sure that your router/switch ports/wiring all works fine
- Make sure that your Relay Agent is configured in the right way
- Ensure the DHCP Server Service is running and see if you can ping the DHCP server
- Disable the Windows Firewall on both the server and the client
- Disable the 3rd party security solution if there is any
