In the bottom right hand corner of your screen press the "Notifications" icon. Then press "Tablet Mode" on the bottom row to unselect it.
Hope this helps.

Not part of win 10. I would run a malwarebytes scan to be sure
Please download the free version of Malwarebytes.
Update it immediately.
Do a full system scan
Let us know the results at the end.

It is definitely a feature of Win10

Not on a default installation it is not. Did you run malwarebytes?
Google "life at a glance" and you will not find a win 10 reference. Use search and see where life at a glance lives and I will bet it is in a temp folder or your browser.

Hi ,
Thank you for your question.
We could refer to the following steps to achieve it:
- Right click application and choose “Unpin from Start” in “Life at a glance”
2. The same steps to remove all applications from “Life at a glance”
3. Then drag the UI edge to left as the following snapshot:
Finally, we will see :
By the way, the same method could deactivate “Play and explore”.
If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.
Best Regard,
Jim

I have the opposite problem. I am running dual screens and on the left screen click start does not show the Live Tiles, but on the right screen when I click start, does show the Live Tiles. What controls these? Why would one be on and the other be off? Thanks in advance.

I have just upgraded from windows 8.1 to windows 10 and 'Life at a Glance' is also on my start menu, so definitely part of Windows 10.

Most definitely a part of Windows 10. I just did a clean install of Windows 10 Professional using an ISO downloaded from Windows.com (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10) and before I even opened a browser, "Life at a glance" and "Play and explore" were both attached to my Start menu.

On lower right corner click on notifications, then click on 'Tablet Mode'. That will deactivate 'life at a glance'.
