Gmail folders not showing up in Outlook.

My social and promotional emails are not coming through in Outlook email but are there on Gmail.  I have deleted filters (I think) and re-booted several times.

Hi,

From the description, these emails that are not showing up in Outlook are in all in certain Gmail folders, am I correct? If this is the case, it could be that you configured Gmail as IMAP in your Outlook and you haven't subscribed to these folders.

To verify this, go to Folders tab, click IMAP Folders button, click Query button when All tab is selected. In the folders list returned, click to select the folders that are not showing up in Outlook and click Subscribe button.

I have multiple folders in Gmail but when synced with Outlook cannot see a single folder. All subscribed and unsubscribed folders are the same when seen through folders tab > Imap Folders button > Query. But these are the folders like All Mail, Drafts, Junk E-Mail, Sent Mail, Spam, Trash and Trash/ Sent. All my other folders displayed on Gmail are not showing on Outlook through this process.
