removing accents from word 2007 documents

I would like to remove accents throughout the document ..How can this be accomplished in word 2007?

According to your description, could you help us figure out whether you want to remove accents throughout the document manually or programmatically? if you do it manually, you could replace accents:

if you do it programmatically, you could use VBA to find and replace text.

What you can do is replace é with e and so forth.
