Question

Some software my company uses would normally require seperate systems, but to streamline things I'd like to install a Hyper-V instance of Windows 10 on Windows 10. I've done this and the software works great, but now I come to need #2.
Throughout the day, different users will use the same workstation. I've been trying to import the Hyper-V Win10 onto a second user account, but I can't seem to get it it to work.
How would I go about granting access to the same Virtual Machine to multiple user accounts?
Thank you

Questions about Windows 10 virtualization are better handled Windows in the Windows 10 virtualization forum found at https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/home?forum=win10itprovirt.
One of the first things you need to do is check with a trained Microsoft licensing specialist to see that you are properly licensed for the environment.
Next, Windows 10 is a client operating system, designed to be used by a single user at a time. Therefore, only a single user can use the VM at a time.
If you want to have multiple user accounts use the same VM serially (not simultaneously), you need to grant each user account access to the RDP account of the VM. (Note, this is where you need the trained Microsoft licensing specialist. Though it is easy to grant any account RDP access to the machine due to the built-in RDP, that built-in RDP is specifically for purposes of system management, not application access. What you are describing is something often referred to as VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure), and it has licensing implications that are well beyond the scope of a technical forum dedicated to Windows Server Hyper-V. Experts in the above referenced Windows 10 virtualization forum are much more familiar with VDI, but it is still a technical forum, and not a legal forum.
