Do Windows Server 2016 Supports Media Streaming

We are looking to use windows media streaming option, is it supported by Windows server 2016 ?

Hi,

As far as I know, Windows Server 2016 works the same as Windows Server 2012 r2 to enable media for Essentials.

As Manage Digital Media in Windows Server Essentials mentioned: 
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server-docs/essentials/manage/manage-digital-media-in-windows-server-essentials

Windows Server Essentials Media Pack(https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40837) is not available for Windows Server 2016, or, the pack for Windows Server 2016 has not been released until now.

I would recommend you to wait for the pack releasing.

So do you know when it has new release for Windows 2016?

1 year past already, but Microsoft still not provide the pack.
