Hi,

I'm trying to install VS 2012 Ultimate on a Win Server 2012 RC x64, hosted in a VMware virtual machine.

I downloaded the iso file and loaded it as a DVD drive in my virtual machine. I verified the SHA1 of the downloaded package and it is cc19aa9b71686962dd92a38d82be74a98c714188 as it should be.

When I run the installation I get the following error:

Hi Joe,

I am sorry that I feel a little confused about your issue: as you try installing VS2012 RC Ultimate, but why you get the error message conplains you can't install vs_professionalcore?

And from the above error message:

It seems that your installer is corrupted, so please try redownload the installer from Microsoft official site and then try again: http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/11/en-us/downloads#ultimate

I am getting the same error message. Background: had VS2012 Ultmate RC installed. Then tried to install VS 2012 Pro (what I get with my subscription) and that failed. Uninstalled it completely. Just tried uninstalling VS2012 Ultmate RC in case that was causing a conflict. It failed with:

Same issue as jlavallet

On many Win 7 x64 we have done this same procedure... No uninstall.. Just update RC to RTM Ultimate. Worked fine on 3 desktops.

When try the same procedure on our 2008R2 Server w/o internet we are getting this same error.

Using ultimate and i get a check sum match: 6A2B87BCD336A96AC39CF85348E93E5AF45588EB
