It seems as if others might be stumped by this same issue installation errors Visual C++ runtime 2012
So do you have a restore point to go back to from before this started \ this was installed? Click start search for restore open Create a system restore, then click System Restore... and pick a date from before this started.

Sadly, this issue has been present long before my furthest restore point.

Hi CoyoteKillerz,
Has Visual C++ 2012 been installed on the machine?
It seems that there is something wrong with the Visual C++ 2012. Please try to run the following tool then uninstall it, restart and reinstall it.
Fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed
We could get Visual C++2012 here.

If the issue persist, try to install in a clean boot environment.

Hi CoyoteKillerz,
What is the exact result you have tried those steps? Is it available to uninstall Visual C++? Have you got any error code or error message (Event Viewer\Windows Logs\Applications)?
Please uninstall the antivirus software then check the symptom again.
Run "sfc /scannow" to check the health of system files.
You may try another Battlefield 1 Installation package.
Best regards

Well try dism from an admin command prompt;
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
Info from System file check (SFC) Scan and Repair System Files & DISM to fix things SFC cannot (by team ZigZag) offers further advice.
See if trying that helps. Beyond that more drastic i.e. reset Windows or reinstall required perhaps tbh imho and backup everything docs, picture, vids, saved game before trying those.
