Hi azuriste

When creating a shared mailbox the account is useally disabled to stop the AD account from being able to logon to devices when using exchange on prem this is done automatically. If you convert a mailbox to a shared mailbox in office 365 leaving the account enabled shouldn't cause any issues other than the account can still be used to logon to devices but it would be recommend to disable.
