Question

I have I problem when playing any game on my windows 7, my F2-F12 keys on keyboard don't respond when I press them. Only F1 key is working. I have MAXDATA KB-0556 keyboard. In Control Panel, under keyboard settings I cannot change any options related to key settings, because I don't have Key settings option. The keyboard driver is working properly. I tried 3 different keyboards and the problem is same. F1 is working in game, F2-F12 not. I would appreciate help.

when your problem is on Windows 7, why do you post in a Windows 10 forum?

If your F2-F12 keys work in normal, you need to notice the game settings.

I suspect that you don’t use English keyboard layout, when you were in game, game can’t recognize the keyboard layout so F2-F12 don’t work.

Another possibility, hot key conflict, please clean boot computer then only run game.

Hi,

I suppose the issue is caused from BIOS setting, if your keyboard has a [Fn] key along with [F1]-[F12] key, or your BIOS supports [Fn] key.
If this is correct, please try to find in BIOS "F1-F12 as primary function" or something like this, and make it Enabled.
