Hey All,
I have a pretty strange issue with bitlocker and DELL 5480 (Win10)
When the laptop is booting and its docking station is connected (type c), the password is fails, and bitlocker asking for recovery key.
But, if the docking station is disconnected, the bitlocker password doesn't fails.
I'm the only one who facing this issue?
Any suggestions?
Thanks! :)

Hi Mr_Cohen,
According to your description, I suggest that you could try to update the BIOS and update TPM version to check.
As official description, docking or undocking a portable computer. In some instances (depending on the computer manufacturer and the BIOS), the docking condition of the portable computer is part of the system measurement and must be consistent to validate the system status and unlock BitLocker. This means that if a portable computer is connected to its docking station when BitLocker is turned on, then it might also need to be connected to the docking station when it is unlocked. Conversely, if a portable computer is not connected to its docking station when BitLocker is turned on, then it might need to be disconnected from the docking station when it is unlocked.
Also please refer to the link below about issues resulting in Bitlocker Recovery Mode and their resolution.
Meanwhile I suggest that you could post the issue to DELL official website to get support. Some people seem to be having such problem.

Hope it will be helpful to you
