don't know what is problem with your site or settings. Here is my setting for your ref:

View settings:

List view display page:

Hemendra: "Yesterday is just a memory,Tomorrow we may never see"

Whenever you see a reply and if you think is helpful, click "Vote As Helpful"! And whenever you see a reply being an answer to the question of the thread, click "Mark As Answer

Please feel free to unmark answer if does not resolves your problem.

Hi,

You can do this by changing list view style. Go to list settings-->click on your default view (default is "All Items")-->then move to bottom and select "style"-->now select "Newsletter" from view style box-->click ok and see the result.

You will also notice one row so if you want to avoid that then again modify same view and unselect column checkbox (which are coming in row or header) from columns section.

In a similar way, you can give any style for your list view.

Hope it could help

Few comments:

1. click on list from ribbon-->make sure that you have selected correct view from "current view" dropdown, which you just modified.

2. make sure that you have selected "newsletter" style not "newsletter, no lines" because second style will almost look default.

see my result below:

Hi,

Select "Boxed" in view settings. I think this is what you are expecting. (Goto List settings->Select <view page>)

                            OR

Try this in Designer;

1. Open the view page in SharePoint Designer

2. Goto Design View

3. Select the webpart (Click on the webpart)

4. You will have lot of options to change the view under RIBBON. (Under Design)

5. Select "Boxed"
