Office 365 E1, E2, E3

Hi,

In my organization so many users got installed Office 365 so in that how to determine E1, E2, E3 users . What the component and version need to be check for this ?

Hi Krishna,

As far as I know, Office 365 Plans E2 has been discontinued. SKU features are now consolidated into the E1 offerings.

You can refer to this article for a detailed list of features that included in each Office plan, which can be used to tell the license that you are currently using:

I see.

There is no way to tell this via the Name or Version of the software that installed by users in Control Panel.

All software (Office suite) installed via Office 365 will update through the same channel, so they will have the same version number. 

As can be seen from the link above, E1 users should not be able to install Office apps for PC and Mac. If the use can install Office apps on his/her PC, then he/she is probably having E3.

Thanks for your reply ,

But am not looking any features in between E1, E2, E3

What I mean, If suppose we install XYZ software that will show in Add/Remove programs with Name and version right, in the same way, how to determine user have E1 OR E2 or E3
