IPAM DNS zone error

Hello, i have a trouble.

After dns server discovered in IPAM i can't see any of the IP address in console.

Zone status is Error!

Hello Serg,

Have we set the firewall exception on both DNS and IPAM server in order to allow RPC/WMI/WS-Management traffics to pass through on both servers . Maybe we can just temporarily disable Windows built-in firewall and retry during the testing:

Hi,

 

We've found an early post in which there seems to be a discussion on the same issue. Hopefully this may help.

Would you please follow the instruction below and see if this works:

  • Reset the zone status
  • Click Tasks and retrieve Information from the DNS in IPAM console

Hi, i read this article yet.

FW on every DC and IPAM disabled.

I wrote network team to verify access by requirement ports between servers

TCP/135 UDP/135 RPC endpoint mapper
TCP/1024-65535 RPC dynamic assignment
TCP/389 Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)
TCP/445 WMI
TCP/5985-5986 ws-management

Now wait them answer.

Resolve dns problem after reinstall Ipam on another server with requirements ports open.

After that problem with dhcp solved. IPam and dhcp installed on the same server.
