Hi,
i am using SharePoint 2010. Yesterday i tried to create a web application based on FBA. I followed this article and created the web application. Once i tried to access it, i can access the site collection from windows authentication but when i tried FBA it said Could not connect to server. Check you username and password and try again. I tried alot to fix that issue but couldnt so i undid everything that i did. Once done, i was unable to access my central admin so i run the configuration wizard. Now the central admin main page is accessible, but when ever i try to access any option i get this error
Access is denied.
Description: An error occurred while accessing the resources required to serve this request. The server may not be configured for access to the requested URL.
Error message 401.2.: Unauthorized: Logon failed due to server configuration. Verify that you have permission to view this directory or page based on the credentials you supplied and the authentication methods enabled on the Web server. Contact the Web server's administrator for additional assistance.
Really need your help on this before i somebody sees this and kills me. I havent did anything to web.config manually. Any hints what is going worng here.
