PowerPivot for MS Excel 2013 ( Standard )

I am using MS Office 2013 - Standard version - want to activate PowerPivot - i tried all options available at Microsoft Site by following steps to active PowerPivot also installed various KBs - HotFix, updating Registry ( as per Microsoft site ) - but don't see option to activate. Appreciate your help. THanks.

I am corporate user of Microsoft office.

Hi PranavDineshShah,

As far as I know, Power BI add-ins all require specific SKUs of Microsoft Office 2013. They are available on:

1. Microsoft Office 2013 Professional Plus
2. Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus available as a standalone subscription.
3. Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus available as part of the Office 365 Enterprise E3, Office 365 Enterprise E4, Office 365 Education E2, Office 365 Education E3, Office 365 Government E3, or Office 365 Government E4 offerings.
4. Microsoft Excel 2013 standalone with the following update  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2817425

So you cannot use Power Pivot in Office 2013 Standard version.
